- Traveling to San Jose today to meet
and record a very learned man, Hideo Izumoto
and PJ Hirabayashi of San Jose Taiko.
They are doing a wonderful work with Hideo's
Shinto Chant that he uses as an integral
part of his healing art along with Acupuncture.
He wants to incorporate the Taiko to strengthen
the expereince. So cool!

- Began the recording project with Yoko
Fujimoto, a wonderful singer who has performed
with world reknowned taiko group KODO
from Sado Island Japan. We are collaborating
on a CD project of traditional Japanese
Lullaby's that she has seleceted and are
so beautifully sung by her. We hope to
finish this recording in Japan sometime
in the fall! And I hope to be able to
visit Sado Island at that time.

thru 11th - Very excited to meet up with
my friend Fernando Saunders, an extraordinary
bassist and singer for his "I WIll
Break Your Fall" Tour in Spain. We
will be touring the north in Basque Countryand
ending up in beautiful Barcelona.

It is a keyboardist dream studio ... incredible

- Spent the month recording Charles Billingsley's
Christmas Project with an eclectec ensemble and
mixing with at my studio with the "L"
Craig Burbidge! So many memorable moments on this
recording with performances by the Waters (Julia,
Maxine & Oren) along with stellar guitar work
by Mark Goldenberg, Greg Leisz & Tim Pierce.
Drummer Denny Fongheiser & Bassist/Producer
Larry Klein created some wonderful moods and Drummer
Ed Smith along with Ac Bassist Kenny Wild kept
the jazz swing killing! Above all, Charles is
one of the finest singers I have ever had the
pleasure to record and work with. This will be
released this year!

- Beginning pre-production work on singer Charles
Billingsley's Christmas CD yet untitled. He is
one of the finest singers I have had the pleasure
to work with and we are all thrilled to be working
together. Working along with Charles Pianist and
musical director Adam Lancaster, I know it's going
to be fun because at all of our prior meetings
getting to know one another, I haven't laughed
so hard in a long time. Great guys from Virginia!

singer named Lori Jenair would will be featured
on a song penned by Chris called "Since You're
No Longer Mine".

- Recording more music to complete instrumental
artist Chris Korblein's upcoming CD entitled love
notes with a song called "Boys Night Out"
featuring Chris along with friends Ray Parker
Jr. on guitar and Steve Cole on sax. Tracked at
the beautiful and hip Firehouse Studios in Pasadena
with Engineer Craig Burbidge at the helm. Filling
out the rhythm section was Ed Smith on drums and
Alex Al on bass with myself on piano. How much
fun is that!

- Peabo Bryson - WHAS Crusade For Children Telethon,
Live Concert Broadcast - Louisville KY. *One of
the most memorable experiences I have had. Peabo
was extraordinary and gracious as always and made
these special kids feel so much at home inviting
them on stage with him while he sang his hit "A
Whole New World". This organization is doing
wonderful things in KY and ID.

was one of (if not the) most beautiful outdoor
amphitheaters I have ever been in. It felt like
going to church in nature!

Entertainer Poncie Ponce at a benefit Holiday
Performance for the Senior Citizens at Gardena
Methodist Church. Since retiring (I use the word
loosely as this guy works!) he spends his time
giving back entertaining at different functions
sponsored by Hawaiian Transplants living in CA.
To see their smiling faces was priceless!

- Bindu Recording Artist Angela Luna performs
her first show in Los Angeles at the cool Temple
Bar in Santa Monica. I produced Angela's CD released
this year mixed by Rob Chiarelli. After working
together developing her songs bi-coastal (she
lived in CT) the past 5 years I realized that
this was the first time I had seen her perform
live and it was amazing!

Wang. Tracking session took place at Mad
Dog Studio in Burbank CA, one of my favorite
studios in Los Angeles with Producer Bing Wang
from Taiwan and engineer Craig Burbidge at the

this work for over 3 years which debut this month

for everyone! Getting ready to start recording
with international recording artist Diane Arkenstone.
Wonderful songs by a wonderful artist! Also planning
a CD project with my dear friend June Kuramoto
from the band Hiroshima. We have written songs
together over the past 15 years and finally may
have the opprotunity to do the CD we have always
